The 2020 Maryland General Assembly is my second year on the Economic Matters Committee, and my first as Chair of the Banking, Consumer Protection, and Commercial Law Subcommittee. This year, we considered a wide breadth of legislation dealing with business regulation, consumer protection, alcohol and tobacco laws, life and auto insurance, workers’ compensation, fair wage laws, and more.
