Dear Montgomery County residents:
As of March 30, 2020, there have been 1,413 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Maryland, of which 341 have been reported in Montgomery County.
To limit the spread of COVID-19, Governor Hogan has issued a mandatory stay-at-home directive through a executive order — by law, you may not leave your homes except for essential jobs or reasons, even if you are not feeling sick.
You can find more information about how Montgomery County is handling the pandemic in this press release from County Executive Marc Elrich: https://content.govdelivery.com/…/MDMONTG…/bulletins/2839fd9.
We can only overcome this crisis if we work together and if everyone follows the social distancing guidelines.
Please do not hesitate to contact my office if you have any questions or concerns.
